Lately I've been struck by what a wonderful thing it is when one or more grown men take time out their busy schedules to help a teenage boy accomplish something whose worth is every bit as much in the process as it is in the end result.

Yesterday I was struck by how long it's been since I've been up Rock Canyon and how I've forgotten how much I loved the place when I first moved here. I often take for granted the amazing gifts of nature we have just 10-20 minutes from our home.
